Role Overview
Infocodec Solutions is seeking an experienced JAMS Automation Engineer to support enterprise automation initiatives across cloud and infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain automation workflows using the JAMS Enterprise Scheduler, supporting business-critical systems and ensuring high availability of automation services.
This role involves working closely with infrastructure teams, application teams, and cloud engineers to build scalable automation solutions and maintain reliable scheduling environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts used in automation workflows, ensuring they are stored in source control for proper change management.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all JAMS Scheduler jobs, ensuring accurate documentation and configuration.
- Monitor and maintain databases supporting automation platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and availability.
- Configure and monitor Azure SQL Elastic Jobs to automate database tasks and operational workflows.
- Maintain a JAMS incident tracker to record warnings, failures, escalation details, and resolutions.
- Update job properties such as schedules and source code as directed by job owners.
- Perform daily monitoring of JAMS job execution outputs to ensure system health and reliability.
- Investigate job failures, implement corrective actions, or escalate issues to responsible teams when required.
- Log Service Desk tickets for job failures and collaborate with application teams to resolve issues while maintaining documentation and knowledge base updates.
- Install and maintain JAMS client tools, platform updates, and reporting components.
- Coordinate with JAMS vendors and procurement teams regarding software licensing and renewals.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects, developing automation workflows according to project requirements.
- Build, administer, monitor, and maintain JAMS Enterprise Scheduler and System Center Orchestrator environments.
- Work with application teams to design and implement automation workflows for operational efficiency.
- Develop system integrations using REST APIs for infrastructure monitoring, data analysis, and reporting.
- Maintain automation platform documentation including standard operating procedures, patches, and system updates.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation workflow errors and runbook failures.
- Ensure strict change management practices for automation infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation efficiency and operational workflows.
- Contribute to technology evaluation and innovation initiatives.
- Ensure automation systems remain available and operational 24/7.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal teams and business stakeholders.
Technical Qualifications
Strong experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Server (2012 – 2019+)
- PowerShell scripting
- Microsoft SQL Server (2012 – 2025)
- Microsoft Azure cloud services
Key Azure capabilities include:
- Azure Logic Apps
- JSON scripting
- REST APIs
- Azure cloud databases
Additional preferred experience:
- Azure or AWS cloud certifications
- Azure SQL databases including:
- MariaDB
- PostgreSQL
- Cosmos DB
- MongoDB
- Experience with JAMS Enterprise Manager (highly desirable)
- Experience with Elastic Job Agent for Azure SQL Databases
- Experience with System Center Orchestrator 2012 or later

Education Requirements
