About the Role
Infocodec Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within the Commercial Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering mid-to-large scale IT transformation programs, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
Note: Only candidates with Commercial Insurance industry experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mid-to-large scale IT projects using PMLC and SDLC frameworks, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop and maintain key project governance artifacts, including:
- Project charters
- Detailed project plans
- Budgets and forecasts
- RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Communication plans
- Test strategies
- Stage gate reviews
- Coordinate and drive execution across cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, Business Analysts, architects, and vendors.
- Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams and deliver executive-level status reporting and project metrics.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating critical items when required.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Support project governance and ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- 8+ years of experience leading mid-to-large scale IT projects, including application development, system integrations, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Proven delivery experience in the Commercial Insurance industry (mandatory).
- Strong experience working with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as:
- Microsoft Project
- Planview
- SharePoint
- Jira
- Strong understanding of:
- Requirements management
- Testing coordination
- System integrations
- Deployment planning
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and vendor management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – preferred
- CPCU certification or advanced degree – considered a plus
