Role Overview
A Business Analyst in Capital Markets at Infocodec Solutions works closely with business stakeholders, trading teams, and technology teams to analyze requirements and improve systems supporting trading, securities processing, and financial markets operations.
The role focuses on understanding business needs across the trade lifecycle, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring technology solutions support efficient trading, risk management, and post-trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, including traders, operations teams, and risk managers.
- Analyze processes across the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including:
- Order management
- Trade execution
- Clearing
- Settlement
- Collaborate with teams supporting multiple asset classes, including:
- Equities
- Derivatives
- Fixed Income
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, and business process documentation for system enhancements and implementations.
- Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Participate in process improvements and system optimization initiatives across capital markets platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of capital markets products and trading workflows.
- Experience working across front office, middle office, and back office processes.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or structured project environments.
