About the Role
Infocodec Solutions is seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst with strong expertise in the banking and capital markets domain. The successful candidate will work closely with trading desks, risk teams, operations, and technology groups to implement, enhance, and support the Murex MX.3 trading and risk management platform.
This role involves business requirement analysis, functional design, system configuration support, and integration of front-to-back trading workflows, ensuring that trading, risk, and back-office processes operate efficiently within the Murex ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Front Office, Risk Management, Operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs within the Murex platform.
- Support implementation and configuration of Murex modules, including:
- Front Office trading
- Risk management
- Back Office processing
- Work closely with development teams to support system customization, testing, and deployment activities.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Analyze and support the complete trade lifecycle, including:
- Trade capture
- Risk calculations
- P&L and exposure monitoring
- Settlement and accounting
- Regulatory reporting
- Provide production support and troubleshooting for Murex-related workflows and system issues.
- Ensure the platform meets regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational standards.
- Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and platform optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking or capital markets environments.
- Hands-on experience with the Murex platform (MX.3 or earlier versions).
- Strong understanding of financial products, including:
- Derivatives
- Fixed Income
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Structured Products
- Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle across:
- Front Office
- Middle Office
- Back Office
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and system integration concepts.
- Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Murex implementations, upgrades, or integration projects.
- Knowledge of risk management concepts such as P&L, VaR, and exposure monitoring.
- Experience working in large banking or financial institutions.
- Understanding of financial messaging and system integrations.
